Business School's 7th annual Africa Day conference, holding
on May 17, 2008 at the London Business School campus, will
explore the topic of the transformation of the African continent
by exploring a key driver for economic growth and social development
– Education.
This
year's conference, “Empowering Africa: Investing in
Education, Securing our Future” aims to:
Bring
together business and political leaders to discuss major
developments, challenges and success stories in the area
of education on the continent; promote the value of education
as a tool for long-term socio-economic development; explore
good practices developed by business and government leaders
and inspire
participants to spearhead education initiatives.
