On
Wednesday, 14 March 2007, the
London Business School Africa Club and the London
Magnet Society hosted a presentation by the Medicapital
Bank. Medicapital Bank is the first bank to be based
in the UK, which is FSA regulated and is promoting French
speaking regions of Africa. Medicapital Bank discussed
the issues with setting up a new bank and obtaining a reach
within Africa and the type of people required to work in this
environment: Entrepreneurial, punchy and creative!
The
presentation was well attended and a drinks reception followed
where students were able to ask more direct questions of
the team from Medicapital Bank.
