Bruce Ayonote, Founder and CEO, Suburban Telecom

Bruce Ayonote is the Group CEO of Suburban and one of the founders of the company. Suburban is an integrated telecommunications service provider based in Nigeria with operations in Europe and the USA .

He obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Political Science and Public Administration from University of Maiduguri , Nigeria with additional qualification in Telecommunications Management from the University of Hull Business School (UK).

Bruce has extensive international exposure from renowned institutions. He had a stint with British Telecommunications (BT), professional trainings from London Business School (UK) and Harvard Business School (USA).

His experience spans beyond Communications and High Technology (C & HT) to Corporate Finance and Business Development. He also has deep expertise and working knowledge with the public sector. A key recent achievement with the public sector (Government in particular) is the just concluded Abuja Wi-Fi Project; an initiative which translates Nigerian Federal Capital Territory as the 1ST wireless city in West Africa .

He is the promoter of the Groups internet strategy which intends to achieve over 30% Internet penetration in the Sub region of West Africa in two years. The Suburban Group has achieved a CAGR of over 200% every year in the last 4 years under his leadership.

Bruce is married to Zainab with 3 children Ziyana , Bruce Jr, and Zoe. He was born on 15 April, 1974 and is a devoted Christian.
