Lawrence "Larry" Drake II, MD and CEO,

    Coca-Cola Nigeria Ltd.

Lawrence "Larry" Drake II is division president, Nigeria and Equatorial Africa.  Mr. Drake joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1980 as a part of the Bottler Operations Candidate Program and was named district manager for most of the state of Wisconsin, with responsibility for 20 bottlers. From 1981 to 1990, he held various roles of increasing responsibility, including Sales Development Manager, Region Manager, and Account Group Director for the then newly formed Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) Account Group.

Mr. Drake left the Company in 1990 and joined KFC as Vice President and General Manager of the North Central Division. In 1995, Larry became Senior Vice President of Cablevision Systems Corporation, and in 1997 he served as Executive Vice President and Managing Partner at Dolman Technologies.

Returning to The Coca-Cola Company in 1999 as region Vice President of North America Mid-Central Region, Mr. Drake was soon promoted to Region Vice President, West Region, covering four CCE divisions and 21 bottlers until named to his current post as Division President in May of 2004.

 

Mr. Drake also serves on several boards, including The California Sciences Center, Crystal Stairs, the Executive Leadership Council Foundation, and the Coca-Cola Africa Foundation.

 

Larry has a Bachelors degree from Georgia State University and an MBA from Rockhurst University in Missouri.
