South Africa Trip: 25 March - 4 April 2007

 

The Africa Club at London Business School organised a student led trip to South Africa for Spring Break this year.

The trip aimed to provide the 35 participants with a full perspective of South Africa, from enjoying the beautiful landscapes to understanding business in the region. The group spent time in Johannesburg and Cape Town. They also spent time at a game farm, and completed a 1-day visit to Pretoria.

The itinerary included:

- a 2-day visit to Mabula Game Lodge

- visit to Pretoria

- Soweto and the Apartheid Museum

- CIDA and the Richard Branson School of Entrepreneurship

- visit to Rand Merchant Bank

- London Business School promotion at KPMG

- Alumni Dinner (The Grill House)

- Robben Island

- Cape Peninsula Tour

- Talk by Zackie Achmat

- Visit to BP

- Table Mountain

- Cape Winelands
